What data we collect
- Data you send us through the contact form: your names, email address, wedding date and venue, and the message you choose to write.
- Browsing data: like any website, the server automatically records some technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) to keep the site working and secure.
- Cookies: the site uses technical cookies and, only with your consent, statistics cookies (Google Analytics) and third-party cookies related to the videos. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
- To answer your request and prepare a quote: the legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the site working and secure: the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To collect aggregated visit statistics with Google Analytics: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To show videos embedded from YouTube and Vimeo: this happens only when you press play and, for third-party cookies, only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Providing the form data is optional, but without a name and email we cannot reply to you.
How long we keep it
Requests received through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to handle them and in any case no longer than 24 months, unless they lead to a contract: in that case the data follow the retention periods required by law for contractual and tax records. Technical browsing data are kept by the hosting provider only for as long as strictly necessary for the security of the service.
Who we share it with
Your data are never sold or made public. They may be processed on our behalf, and only for the purposes stated, by providers of the technical services we need:
- Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), the site’s hosting provider;
- Google Ireland Ltd., provider of the email service on which we receive your requests;
- Google Ireland Ltd. (YouTube) and Vimeo.com Inc. (USA), to play the embedded videos;
- Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics), for visit statistics, only if you have given your consent.
Data transfers to the United States are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Videos and social networks
Videos are loaded from YouTube (in privacy-enhanced mode) and from Vimeo (with tracking disabled) only when you press the play button. The images in the Instagram section are stored on this site: viewing them does not connect your browser to Instagram’s servers. Links to our social profiles lead to external sites with their own privacy notices.
Visit statistics
If you accept statistics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregated form, how many people visit the site, where they come from and which content they view. Google Analytics 4 does not record or store full IP addresses. We do not use these data for advertising or to identify you. Without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded. Detailed data are kept by Google for a maximum of 14 months.
Your rights
At any time you can ask us for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to the processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to valeriocappelluti@gmail.com. If you have given your consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like, including from the cookie settings button. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

We may update this notice; the version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update. In case of any discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
